Job summary

GE Aerospace in Peebles, Ohio, is seeking a Peebles Control Console Technician to support engine and test cell hardware and software configuration under project leadership.

You will help ensure data displays and safety limits are correct, participate in test planning, maintain documentation, and collaborate with customers and peers while contributing to a team that values quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Shift flexibility and availability for all shifts as noted.
• Willingness to work overtime and meet safety requirements.
• Ability to work in a high-risk environment and around heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure control room data display and safety annunciation match test needs.
• Support test planning and operation of console, FMS, DAP, PDL.
• Maintain test cell and engine hardware/software documentation.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Diagnose and correct instrumentation and system malfunctions.
• Assist maintenance and engineering in test facility upkeep.
