Job summary

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, Computer or Software Engineering.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under the program/contract.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English.
• Analytical and mathematical modeling skills.
• Ability to solve problems at an implementation level.
• Preferred: passion for learning about and pursuing a career in aviation and aerospace.
• Preferred: creative problem-solving skills and adaptability.
• Preferred: basic understanding of gas turbine engines.
• Preferred: knowledge in Python or other coding languages

Responsibilities

• Support system design integration and requirement management activities
• Attend and participate in group meetings, teleconferences and/or training
• Make minor changes or enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems or improve work-area effectiveness
• Support project management activities
• Support other duties/functions within the company based on business needs
• Contribute to challenging, meaningful, and impactful aerospace projects
• Develop understanding of the aerospace industry, RTX, its operations, and departmental contributions to products and customer partnerships
• Participate as a productive member of the department
