Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an EMI Advanced Engineering Support Specialist to lead a team of engineering technicians and provide technical leadership for EMI/EMC testing within the aerospace domain.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform DO-160/MIL-STD-461 compliant testing, troubleshoot high-level issues, and drive continuous improvement to ensure timely, high-quality results for aerospace programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in EMI engineering or related aerospace role.
• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities in high-stakes aerospace projects.
• Experience with EMI test equipment such as amplifiers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and programmable power supplies.
• Familiarity with DO-160 and MIL-STD-461 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineering technicians and provide technical guidance for project success.
• Run environmental testing using spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, amplifiers, and signal generators per DO-160 and MIL-STD-461.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve aerospace engineering processes and systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain high quality and efficiency of engineering operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices within the team.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality test results aligned with project goals and aerospace industry standards.
