Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Electromagnetic Interference Lead Engineering Technician II to provide technical leadership and ensure robust EMI practices across aerospace projects.

You will collaborate with a skilled team, perform environmental testing per DO-160 and MIL-STD-461, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive continuous process improvements for high-quality test results aligned with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as an Engineering Technician, preferably in aerospace.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems relevant to aerospace applications.
• Experience with EMI test equipment and RF components.

Responsibilities

• Be a part of a team of engineering technicians, providing technical guidance and support to ensure project success.
• Run environmental testing using spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, amplifiers, according to DO-160 and MIL-STD-461, on aerospace products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve aerospace engineering processes and systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain high quality and efficiency in engineering operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices within the team.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality test results aligned with project goals and aerospace industry standards.
