Job summary

GuideTech LLC in Lenexa, KS is seeking an Electronics Technician to build and inspect electronic and electromechanical assemblies for avionics and autonomous aerospace systems. You will work from approved drawings and quality documents to assemble PCBs, cable harnesses, and related hardware with high precision on-site.

You will perform wire termination, soldering, visual inspections, and basic functional tests, ensuring traceability and compliance with safety procedures in a low-volume, high-mix

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Experience with assembly hand tools, crimp tools, torque drivers, wire strippers, and soldering equipment.
• Familiarity with electronic and electromechanical assembly.
• Ability to read and follow assembly drawings and instructions.
• Basic computer literacy for production documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble PCBs, cable harnesses, and electromechanical products from drawings and instructions.
• Cut, strip, crimp, solder, label, route wires as specified.
• Install mechanical hardware using approved tools and methods.
• Perform in-process and final visual inspections for workmanship.
• Complete production travelers, inspection records, and documentation accurately.
• Identify and report nonconforming materials or discrepancies.
• Follow safety, ESD, and quality procedures; maintain a clean work area.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve issues.
