Job summary

Astronics is seeking an Electronics Engineering Technician to support aerospace electronics through hands-on troubleshooting, testing, and documentation. You’ll read schematics, test circuits, and work with multiple teams to minimize downtime and ensure shipments meet acceptance criteria.

You’ll use meters, scopes, and analyzers to isolate root causes, document steps, and help drive quality across programs. A 9/80 schedule and comprehensive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Read and understand schematic diagrams and circuits.
• Familiarity with transistors, capacitors, resistors, inductors, diodes, regulators, op-amps and how to test them.
• Proficiency with electronic test and measurement equipment (power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, spectrum analyzers).
• Minimum 3 years of experience troubleshooting electronic circuits.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electronic products that fail acceptance testing requirements.
• Inspect workmanship per IPC-610 and verify component locations/orientations.
• Set up and execute acceptance tests to duplicate problems.
• Take electrical measurements and analyze results to determine root cause.
• Document findings and steps in Excel or databases.
