Job summary

Red 6 Aerospace, Inc. in Denver, Colorado is seeking a Hardware Technician to assemble, test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic components and systems for our AR-focused products.

This is a hands-on role on the production floor and in development labs. As our first production technician, you will help define the production system, manage inventory, and support shipping/receiving while maintaining IPC standards and a clean 5S environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in electronics assembly or production in an aerospace or high reliability environment.
• Familiarity with testing procedures, diagnostic equipment, and troubleshooting techniques for electronic systems.
• Strong understanding of electronic schematics, assembly drawings, and technical documentation.
• Ability to use various hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Must be able to obtain a security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Assemble and integrate electronic components, circuit boards, and wiring systems per engineering instructions.
• Perform soldering, crimping, and wire harnessing while meeting IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards.
• Conduct functional tests on electronic assemblies and document results.
