Job summary

Chromalloy in Carson City, NV is seeking an Electronic Technician for 2nd shift to support manufacturing operations. The role is hands-on, focusing on troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and maintaining electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

You will work with laser and control systems to diagnose issues and return equipment to service efficiently. The position offers on-site work with a shift that runs 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, featuring a shift differential and a $1,000

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or equivalent
• Accredited apprenticeship or equivalent technical experience
• 3+ years hands-on experience with electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment
• PLC experience and computer-based controls a strong plus
• Able to read and understand technical drawings and schematics
• Safety-minded and reliable

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electronic systems including temperature controls, CNC controls, and PLC-controlled equipment
• Install, test, start up, and shut down control systems and production equipment
• Troubleshoot, set up, and support laser systems and applications
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues
• Repair and calibrate electronic and pneumatic instrumentation
• Read and interpret electronic diagrams, blueprints, and ladder logic
• Use test equipment such as DMMs and oscilloscopes
• Order parts to manufacturer specifications
• Maintain required performance and maintenance records
• Follow OSHA-compliant startup/shutdown procedures
• Follow ISO/TCS quality requirements
• Provide technical support across multiple manufacturing areas
