Job summary

Ontic Creedmoor is seeking an Electronics Assembly & Test Technician to join the build and test production team in Creedmoor, NC. You’ll assemble, test and troubleshoot electro-mechanical products used across general, commercial and military aviation, following precise documentation and using specialized tools to meet stringent quality standards.

You’ll work across product lines, collaborate with engineering and manufacturing, and may travel domestically to learn processes for transitions into

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in electronics or electro-mechanical assembly.
• Experience with boards or modules, through-hole and SMT components.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions, schematics and specs.
• High school diploma or equivalent with basic calculations and tests.
• Collaborative mindset and effective communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, inspect and test electronic and mechanical products using approved docs and tools.
• Troubleshoot, rework and repair units failing standard tests with engineering support.
• Soldering, wiring and precision assembly under magnification and ESD controls.
• Maintain production documentation and support new product introductions and transitions.
