Job summary

Ontic Creedmoor is seeking an Electronics Assembly & Test Technician to join the build and test production team, assembling, testing and troubleshooting electro-mechanical products used in civil and military aviation. You will work with detailed technical documentation and test equipment to ensure products meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in electronics/electro-mechanical assembly, including soldering.
• Experience with electronics line-replaceable units containing PCBs or modules (through-hole or SMT).
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions, schematics, specs and work orders.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for precision assembly and testing.
• Desirable: J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 soldering knowledge or certification.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, inspect and test electronic and mechanical products using approved documents and procedures.
• Perform product testing with oscilloscopes, analyzers, generators and multimeters to verify specs.
• Troubleshoot, rework and repair units with engineering support.
• Perform soldering, wiring, crimping, fitting and precision assembly; observe ESD controls.
• Maintain production records and follow manufacturing processes and schedules.
• Support new product introductions and transitions, including travel to learn processes at vendor locations.
• Maintain equipment and contribute to continuous improvement and a safe workplace.
