Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Aerospace - electronics Assembler to support our production and repair department on-site in Warner Robins, GA. You will be responsible for repair, assembly, modification and maintenance of various electronic systems, including complex, mission-critical equipment.

Responsibilities include assembling and disassembling electronic units, testing under simulated conditions, and performing continuity checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• IPC J-STD-001 soldering certification required and related training.
• At least 2 years of repair capability experience with electronic assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and repair electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies from diagrams.
• Dismantle, modify, rework, reassemble and test assemblies under simulated conditions.
• Perform continuity checks on work in process and finished products.
• Use hand/power tools, jigs, saws and follow Technical Orders or work instructions.

Job description

Aerospace -electronics Assembler to support our production and repair department. As a member of the production and repair department you’ll be responsible for the repair, assembly, modification, and maintenance of a variety of electronic equipment and Electronic systems. You will be working on highly complex systems and equipment that are mission critical for the platforms that they operate on. This position will serve on-site at Warner Robins, GA.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
• Work from diagrams and drawings, make initial layouts, and use hand and/or power tools, jigs and saws.
• Make continuity checks on work in process and completed.
• Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

Basic Qualifications for Assembler 2

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of repair capability experience(i.e., fabricating, repairing, and modifying complex electronic assemblies, circuit cards, shop or line replaceable units and wiring harnesses).
• Must have IPC J-STD-001 Soldering certification and meet associated training requirements.

Preferred Qualifications for Assembler 2

• Ability to assemble and disassemble electronic assemblies using detailed drawings, work instructions or Technical Orders.
• Minimum of 2 years of repair capability experience(i.e., fabricating, repairing, and modifying complex electronic assemblies, circuit cards, shop or line replaceable units and wiring harnesses).
