Job summary

Rocket Lab Corporation, based at the Stennis Space Center test facility in Mississippi, seeks an Electrical Technician (Level II/III/Senior) to build, operate, and troubleshoot test facilities for the Archimedes engine and Neutron vehicle.

You'll install and repair electrical components, read schematics, ensure code compliance, and collaborate with engineers and technicians to stand up a high‑precision test facility while prioritizing safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of experience as an electrical technician.
• Experience in test operations or in designing, building and activating test facilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical components, systems, machinery and control panels.
• Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime.
• Ensure all electrical systems comply with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to set up and operate the test facility.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
• Perform calibration and functional testing of instrumentation and control systems for cryogenic fluids.
