Job summary

Bascom Hunter Technologies is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to support design, integration and testing of aerospace and defense systems. The role offers hands-on experience across electronics, embedded and digital systems, test equipment, and thermal management.

You will work with engineers from multiple disciplines on design and testing lifecycles, with flexible start/end dates and up to 20 hours per week during school and 40 hours in summer.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s or master’s in Electrical/Computer/Software/Mechanical Engineering.
• Foundational electrical engineering principles and circuit analysis.
• Coursework in embedded systems, microcontrollers, DSP or electronics.
• Experience with SPICE, MATLAB or similar tools; programming desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, development, integration, and testing of electrical/electronic systems.
• Design, build, wire, and troubleshoot test fixtures and equipment.
• Support testing and debugging of hardware, embedded systems, and assemblies.
• Develop test plans, procedures, and engineering docs.
• Perform circuit analysis, simulations to evaluate performance.
• Assist with embedded systems, microcontrollers, DSP, and related electronics.
