Job summary

Bascom Hunter Technologies seeks an Electrical Engineering Intern in Greenfield, IN to support development, integration, and testing of aerospace and defense systems. You will work with engineers across multiple disciplines on design, testing, and documentation throughout the lifecycle.

The role offers hands-on experience with embedded and digital systems, test equipment, and thermal management. Start date and schedule vary with the academic calendar; this is a paid internship with possible

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Foundational understanding of electrical engineering principles and circuit analysis.
Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers or DSP is preferred.
Software programming experience is a plus.
LabVIEW experience is preferred.
Experience with engineering CAD software is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist design, development, integration, and testing of electrical/electronic systems.
Design, build, wire, and troubleshoot test fixtures and equipment.
Support testing and debugging of hardware, embedded systems, and system assemblies.
Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and documentation.
Conduct circuit analysis and simulations to evaluate performance.
Assist with embedded systems, microcontrollers, DSP, and related electronics development.
Support thermal management, power, and control systems testing.
Develop or modify LabVIEW programs and data acquisition software.
Create/update engineering drawings and documentation.
Participate in design/code reviews and project meetings.
Research emerging technologies for aerospace/defense applications.
Collaborate across disciplines to meet project requirements.
