Job summary

Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is seeking a Safety & Compliance Professional in Culpeper, VA, on a 12-month contract. The role requires deep OSHA General Industry knowledge, hazard analysis, risk assessments, incident investigations, and project management experience in aerospace manufacturing environments. Travel <5% and strong communication with regulators and teams are essential.

Responsibilities include conducting audits, training, and liaising with employees, managers, customers, and auditors to uphold safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with Safety reporting and Action Tracking System.
• Must be experienced in OSHA 1910 General Industry.
• Perform hazard analysis and risk assessments.
• Assists in accident investigations and recommends corrective actions.
• Conduct routine audits and inspections to identify and eliminate non-compliance issues.
• Manage projects related to energetics and safety; including participation in incident investigation, risk management, and process hazard analysis.
• Conduct training and communication campaigns to raise site-wide awareness.
• Serve as interface and liaisons with employees, manager, customers, auditors, and regulators.
• Some travel required <5
