Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC seeks an Environmental Engineer to lead environmental initiatives for the Leo program at Redmond or Kirkland, Washington. You will develop and implement environmental management systems, manage compliance programs, and drive sustainable practices across satellite manufacturing operations.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with regulators and internal partners, and oversee permits, audits, and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience developing and implementing environmental compliance programs across multiple media.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and managing large programs.
• Strong communication with leadership and stakeholders.
• 5+ years of environmental engineering/management in aerospace or related field.
• Industrial environmental experience with multiple media types (Air, Hazardous Waste, etc.).
• Background in environmental risk assessment, compliance auditing, and corrective action.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain environmental management systems.
