Job summary

Amazon Leo in Kirkland, WA seeks a Lead Satellite Test Operations Engineer to steer the test operations team in a high‑volume, aerospace production environment.

You will own the daily rhythm, remove bottlenecks, collaborate across design, quality, EH&S and supply chain, and push continuous improvement with data analytics and Lean methods. Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 2+ years leading aerospace production and test teams required; competitive compensation with RSUs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• 2+ years leading aerospace production lines.
• 2+ years in a test engineering environment.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Champion Amazon’s Leadership Principles to drive ownership and accountability.
• Lead safety and quality in satellite test workforce.
• Establish strong relationships with design engineering, quality, EH&S and supply chain.
• Drive operational excellence with data analytics and Lean methods.
• Manage frontline test support and triage when needed.
• Guide manufacturing through complex inputs from Electrical, RF, Thermal, Dynamics, etc.
