Job summary

Lunar Tool & Mold in North Royalton, OH is seeking an EDM Programmer/Operator to program, set up, and operate Wire EDM and Sinker EDM machines for precision tooling and molds.

You will read blueprints, establish machining parameters, monitor operations, and inspect parts to ensure tight tolerances. Experience with aerospace tooling and quality-focused manufacturing is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of precision toolmaking or closely related experience.
• Experience with EDM programming, machine setup, and precision manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate Wire EDM and Sinker EDM machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and machining specifications.
• Establish machine setups, tooling, and EDM parameters.
• Monitor machining operations and adjust to maintain precision.
• Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot programming, setup, and machining issues.
• Maintain equipment and ensure quality standards.
• Collaborate with machinists and toolmakers on projects.
