Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Aguadilla, PR is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to drive proposals, manage cost, budget and risk, and lead cross-functional teams across engineering disciplines. This role is a hybrid position with on-site and remote work as scheduled.

You will serve as ECS SME, coordinating IPMT meetings, governance, and documentation while ensuring milestones are met and delivered within constraints.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Proficient English communication (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required to access program information.
• Project/Program management experience, preferably in aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Act as Proposal Lead and coordinate with engineering, programs, production, quality and supply chain.
• Lead IPMT meetings, track scope changes, and manage schedule to ensure timely deliverables.
• Coordinate preparation of proposals, including budgets, statements, and contract terms.
• Monitor project issues, risks and budgets to meet quality and customer satisfaction goals.
• Maintain integrated master schedules and ensure action item completion.
• Keep pursuits updated in Salesforce and liaise between PM and line management.
