Job summary

GE Aerospace in Wisconsin seeks an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Maintenance Technician to support advanced aerospace manufacturing operations in a high-performance facility.

You will calibrate and maintain process instrumentation and electrical systems, troubleshoot faults, read schematics and P&IDs, and collaborate with operators, engineers, and maintenance teammates to improve uptime, reliability, and safety.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or high school diploma with electrical/instrumentation focus
• 5+ years industrial E&I maintenance experience
• Strong electrical, instrumentation and calibration skills for field devices and control loops
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Good verbal and written communication, math skills
• Organized with attention to detail and a professional attitude
• Willingness to follow direction and work with others
• Problem-solving, teamwork, independent work ability

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and maintain process instrumentation (temperature, pressure, vacuum, flow, pH, gas detection)
• Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation, electrical systems, and related equipment
• Install and support instrumentation devices and control system components
• Support DAQ systems, PLC-based controls, PC-based control systems, and field I/O
• Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, PLC I/O lists, and manuals
• Perform maintenance on production equipment, furnaces, utilities, and facility systems
• Repair motors, pumps, drives, belts, filters, gears, chains, valves
• Contribute to RCA and PHA efforts and continuous improvement
• Document maintenance work, calibration records, and history
• Ensure safety, environmental and electrical compliance
