TAT Technologies, Tulsa site, is seeking a detail-oriented Quality & Dye Penetrant Inspector to support aerospace repair and overhaul operations. You will perform dye penetrant and fluorescent penetrant inspections, verify parts against drawings, and document results to ensure compliance with FAA and customer requirements.

The role requires reading technical documentation, using precision inspection tools, and maintaining calibration of equipment.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of quality inspection experience in aerospace, manufacturing, MRO, or FAA Part 145 repair.
• Experience performing dye penetrant or fluorescent penetrant inspections.
• NAS 410, ASNT, or equivalent NDT certification in PT preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, or related quality systems.
• Experience with ERP and quality management systems.

Responsabilidades

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of aircraft components, assemblies, and repairs.
• Conduct fluorescent penetrant inspections (FPI) and dye penetrant inspections in accordance with procedures and industry standards.
• Verify parts and assemblies conform to engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and customer requirements.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, inspection criteria, and maintenance manuals.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and other inspection equipment.
• Identify, document, and report non-conforming materials, components, and processes.
• Complete inspection records, certifications, and quality documentation accurately and timely.
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, OEM requirements, quality standards, and company procedures.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective action activities as needed.
• Maintain inspection equipment and ensure calibration requirements are met.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, safety, and operational excellence.
• Follow all environmental, health, and safety requirements associated with inspection processes and chemicals.
