Job summary

Anduril Industries, McHenry, Mississippi, is hiring a Dimensional/Visual Inspector to embed with the RMS Quality team. You will help develop inspection processes for propellant, casings, nozzles, liners, igniters, and assemblies, and define acceptance criteria with manufacturing engineering.

You will contribute to the maturation of the QMS, write work instructions, and drive continuous improvement from day one while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on inspection experience in aerospace/defense propulsion.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specs and work instructions.
• GD&T per ASME Y14.5; experience with AS9100 or similar QMS.
• Knowledge of propulsion or energetics standards (MIL-STD-1576/414).
• U.S. Person; export-controlled data access

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections of solid rocket motor components and assemblies.
• Develop and document inspection procedures, work instructions, and acceptance criteria.
• Inspect incoming materials to verify conformance to drawings and PO requirements.
• Apply GD&T per ASME Y14.5; support First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102.
• Operate calibrated inspection equipment and participate in root-cause analysis and CAPA.
