Job summary

Parker Aerospace in Danville, KY is seeking a Digital & IT Team Lead to drive the strategic direction of IT and business systems for the BSD Distribution Center and Carbon sites. You will lead a multi-site team, partner with internal customers, and guide SAP, data analytics, and ERP integrations to deliver reliable, scalable digital solutions.

The role requires 10+ years in Business Systems within aerospace, strong leadership and analytics, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or technology-related field of study.
10+ years of experience with Business Systems.
Experience with Operations, Manufacturing and Quality Systems preferably in Aerospace.
Demonstrated knowledge in database programming: SQL, PL/SQL, DB2, IMS.
Proven experience with data reporting tools: Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services.
Proven experience with SAP MES, SAP ECC or similar and integrations with business systems.
Demonstrated team leadership, including experience with direct reports and contractors.
Strong business analysis experience and skillset.
Demonstrated ability to develop and prepare use cases, functional specifications, and technical requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead the Digital & IT Systems delivery for BSD DC and Carbon sites, ensuring reliable performance and alignment with business goals.
Provide leadership and mentorship to IT team members, fostering innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
Interact with internal customers to gather requirements, define use cases, and recommend effective solutions.
Analyze business processes and guide project teams through analysis and implementation.
Direct and guide development of IT & Digital systems, ensuring compliant and scalable solutions.
Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and vendors to design and implement enhancements.
Stay current with Digital/IT innovations and assess applicability for Parker.
Ensure system uptime through technical support, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
Develop and maintain system documentation and SOPs.
Lead continuous improvement to streamline system efficiencies and SOX/CMMC compliance.
Communicate progress and results to senior management and stakeholders.
Balance multiple priorities and manage project timelines; travel as needed.
