Spirit Defense, a Boeing subsidiary, invites motivated engineering students to join its 2027 intern program in design, structural analysis and systems engineering.

Interns will work onsite in Wichita, KS, be paired with mentors, gain hands-on aerospace experience on real defense programs, and build a professional network.

Relocation assistance may be available, and successful candidates must be able to relocate and commit to Summer 2027.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year ABET-accredited engineering program.
• Ability to work full-time during Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Design, Structural Analysis, and Systems Engineering. Spirit Defense offers internship opportunities supporting active defense programs.
• Interns may work in design engineering, structural analysis, or systems engineering, collaborating with experienced engineers to define requirements and develop design solutions.
