Job summary

GE Aerospace Edison Works offers an internship/co‑op program to work on advanced propulsion concepts for government and defense needs.

You will build CAD models in NX, run simulations in ANSYS, and collaborate with a cross‑functional team of engineers to deliver validated solutions. Candidates must be pursuing an accredited engineering degree with a minimum GPA and be eligible for a SECRET clearance.

Qualifications

• GPA requirement: minimum 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• Pursuing full‑time registered bachelor’s or graduate program in listed majors
• Reliable transportation for site locations
• Active SECRET level security clearance required
• Degrees accepted: Aeronautical/Aerospace, Ceramic, Chemical, Computer, Electrical/EC, Materials, Mechanical engineering, or similar

Responsibilities

• Assist in inventing and developing next‑gen propulsion systems for defense applications
• Contribute to aero design concepts for augmentors and exhaust nozzles
• Create CAD models in NX, run analyses in ANSYS and post‑process results
