Job summary

GE Aerospace Edison Works offers an internship or co-op experience focused on military propulsion systems. You’ll create CAD models in NX or Patran, mesh components, and analyze results with SENTRi or GE CEM codes under mentor guidance.

You’ll work with aero, mechanical, thermal, and performance engineers to optimize designs and prepare for potential full-time opportunities, while emphasizing safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor or graduate degree in a relevant engineering field.
• GPA 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale without rounding.
• Active security clearance at SECRET level is required.
• Ability to work safely, collaboratively, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist in defining and delivering integrated propulsion survivability solutions.
• Develop CAD models and perform meshing in NX or Patran.
• Analyze electromagnetic characteristics using SENTRi or GE CEM tools.
