Job summary

Extex Engineered Products in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Design Engineer to lead aerospace component design for engines and helicopter components, including PMA development and regulatory submissions. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in engineering, a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, and hands-on experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience in aerospace or mechanical design.
• Strong knowledge of engineering specifications (AS, ASME, Mil, ASTM).
• Experience coordinating with external vendors and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop PMA for aerospace parts and products.
• Create 3D models and drawings in SolidWorks.
• Write substantiation packages and FAA reports.
• Project manage PMA projects across all phases.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.
• Contribute to design reviews and validation activities.
