Kaleidoscope Innovation, Inc. is hiring a Design Engineer in Kinston, NC. The role focuses on MRB design activities, concession management, and liaison with Airbus-related processes and documentation.

The candidate will contribute to end-to-end engineering workflows, coordinating with quality, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to implement effective repairs and design improvements. Applicants should hold an aerospace/mechanical engineering degree and have substantial MRB exposure.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech/MTech/MS in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–10 years hands-on MRB design experience.

Responsabilités

• Manage end-to-end workflow, concession preparation, writing, validation and stakeholder coordination.
• On-call/on-duty and shopfloor support.
• Technical studies, 3D part design, Flight Test support, and SI management.
• Review concession data for completeness and accuracy.
• Analyze deviations from drawings, specifications, standards or process requirements.
• Coordinate with Quality for clarifications on non-conformances.
• Liaise with functions to ensure repair solutions considering cost, time, performance and installation.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain on availability of rare repair fasteners.
• Identify repeating issues and escalate for corrective action.
• Propose design improvements to Engineering on repetitive defects and manufacturing teams; strengthen process controls.
• Design special parts to resolve nonconformity when required.
• Review concessions and recommend design changes if issues are design-caused.
• Manage engineering data, documentation, and deliverables per QA and config requirements.
• Support digital continuity and continuous improvement in design/communication processes.
• Serve as technical representative for on-site/offshore coordination and RTT clarifications.
