Job summary

RTX is seeking a Depot Material Analyst for the Jacksonville F135 program to ensure timely availability of parts for assembly and optimize material flow. The role focuses on preventing work stops and improving turnaround times while coordinating shop-floor material activities.

The candidate will use SAP daily, manage kitting, and support Gate 1-3 processes across engine disassembly, repair, and assembly in a U.S.-based role with government contract considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of supply chain or materials management experience, or advanced degree with 3 years experience, or 9 years in lieu.
• U.S. Citizenship is required to access government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all required parts are kitted and ready for assembly by scheduled dates.
• Manage on-time kitting, prevent material work stops, and optimize turnaround times.
• Coordinate material orders, delivery, and tracking on the shop floor.
• Support Gate 1-3 processes by facilitating shipment of parts and storage of serviceable items.
• Source parts from stock, swap parts from engines, and track external repair parts.
• Release completed engine build kits to production controllers and monitor SAP for late part requirements.
• Use SAP daily to track serviceable parts, process orders, and reconcile kits.
• Participate in material review meetings and update status reports.
• Monitor inventory levels and drive continuous improvement to reduce delays.
