Job summary

Ontic Engineering and Manufacturing Inc. in Chatsworth, CA is seeking a Delivery Assurance Specialist to strengthen material flow and protect production schedules.

You will collaborate with Program Management, Operations, and Procurement to track shortages, escalate issues, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery. The role requires 3–5 years in aerospace supply chain or similar, proficiency with ERP/MRP and Excel, and clear communication across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in Supply Chain, expediting, or Delivery Assurance in aerospace or complex manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, ERP/MRP systems, and material planning concepts.
• Experience with cross-functional teams in fast-paced production environments.
• Excellent communication, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret production schedules, PO data, and inventory reports.
• Strong sense of urgency and accountability; able to manage multiple high-priority issues.
• Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support resolution of shortages by coordinating with cross-functional teams and senior buyers.
• Participate in shortage review meetings with Buyers, Planners, and Schedulers.
• Assist in expediting and tracking delivery of critical components to support production schedules.
• Coordinate with Quality and Supplier teams to address delivery or performance issues.
• Provide regular material status updates and risk visibility to stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for supply continuity and supplier performance.
