Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer – Defense Patrol Driver in Melbourne, FL. You will patrol and safeguard client sites, operate a vehicle as part of your duties, and provide exceptional customer service while upholding company values.

The role is a driving post with a flexible schedule and opportunities to earn more through a shift-claiming platform. Prior security and driving experience is preferred; valid license and background screening are required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Being 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by policy.
• Licensing requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while performing security procedures on patrol.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow established protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols around the premises and perimeter.
• Observe and report security issues or incidents encountered during patrols.
• Follow emergency procedures and notify management or authorities as needed.
• Maintain visible presence to deter threats and unauthorized access.
• Document activities and incidents per client and company requirements.
