Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Melbourne, FL. This role offers flexible, fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, with pay rate of $18.58 per hour.

You will support aerospace/defense site security, perform patrols, access control, and reporting. The position emphasizes part-time hours with potential path to full-time, plus benefits and career growth within a leading security

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities and areas.
• Monitor access to designated areas and verify credentials.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations to leadership.
