Job summary

Allied Universal in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol to safeguard clients across aerospace/defense locations. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service.

This role offers a flexible schedule with evening and overnight shifts, unarmed patrol duties, and support for access control. Excellent teamwork and reliability are valued at Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of facilities, access points and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access.
• Prepare incident reports and patrol logs according to procedures.
