Job summary

Quest Defense Systems & Solutions, Inc. seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and validate mechanical test environments for aerospace and defense products.

You will create 3D CAD models, assemblies, and drawings using Creo Parametric and collaborate with electrical, systems, and manufacturing teams to deliver reliable test solutions. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and 2+ years of relevant design experience, strong GD&T, and the ability to obtain a Secret

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 2+ years of related experience.
• 2+ years in mechanical design, product development, or test equipment design.
• Experience with Creo Parametric and drawing/documentation.
• Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical test equipment and environments to support validation and production of aerospace/defense products.
• Create 3D CAD models, assemblies, drawings, and documentation using Creo Parametric.
• Perform mechanical design activities including component selection, tolerance analysis, packaging, and manufacturability.
• Support integration, troubleshooting, and validation of test systems to meet performance and reliability requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, systems, manufacturing, and test engineers to develop integrated test solutions.
• Evaluate existing production test equipment and recommend design improvements to enhance performance and reliability.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and configuration-controlled design artifacts.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input throughout product development.
