Job summary

AeroVironment seeks a Contracts Administrator to support the AV Contracts Department by delivering excellent contracts administration to internal and external customers. This role handles bid, capture and contract negotiations, and ensures performance through life of contracts with amendments, data entry, closeouts and interpretations.

Ideal candidates have basic knowledge of contracts administration in aerospace/defense, with detail-orientation and responsiveness as key traits.

Qualifications

• Associates and/or Bachelor degree in Business Administration required or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–3 years relevant experience; aerospace/defense/government contracting preferred.
• Presently hold or capable of obtaining a U.S. Security Clearance (Secret, Top Secret preferred).
• Knowledge of federal acquisition process, government contracting principles and regulations (FAR/DFARS) required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer contracts through lifecycle: reviews, negotiations, modifications, close-outs.
• Coordinate with Operations, Contracts, Sales, Finance and Legal on bids and proposals.
• Review and redline NDAs, S/PAs, Subcontracts and Master Agreements; ensure compliance with terms and regulations.
