Job summary

Executive Alliance is seeking a Drafter in the United States to prepare clear, complete drawings from sketches or notes. You will develop final technical drawings and schematics, verify dimensions and material specs, and ensure proper spatial relationships within assemblies.

You will apply manufacturing knowledge, math, and material science to ensure accuracy, feasibility and adherence to ISO quality standards. Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD or Draftsight and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Fifth-year college/university program certificate or 2–4 years related experience or training.
• Experience with CAD/drafting standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop final technical drawings and schematics, verifying dimensions, material specs and spatial relationships.
• Apply knowledge of manufacturing processes, engineering practices, math, and materials science for accuracy and feasibility.
• Execute design adjustments, revisions, and ECOs/ECNs as requested by the engineering team.
• Create finished, high-precision designs, layouts, and manufacturing blueprints from rough sketches or notes.
• Generate charts, diagrams and schematics to represent data, routing, or architectures visually.
• Use CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Draftsight) to create 2D drawings and 3D models; MS Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint used as needed.
• Ensure all drawing packages and workflows comply with ISO quality standards.
• Conduct component research to identify parts meeting design constraints and project requirements.
• Maintain robust configuration control by tracking document histories and data baselines.
