Job summary

Karman Space & Defense is seeking a Press Brake Helper for the 2nd shift in South El Monte, CA. This full-time position supports fabrication operations, prepares materials, and helps ensure quality and on-time delivery in a dynamic aerospace environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to use hand tools, attention to detail, and the ability to follow procedures within the QMS. Training will be provided to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience using hand tools in fabrication.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
• Ability to follow work instructions and quality requirements.
• Ability to maintain records in QMS.
• Excellent communication with supervisors and team.
• Able to complete required procedural training.

Responsibilities

• Gather materials and assist with press brake equipment setup.
• Prepare and organize materials for press brake operations.
• Use hand tools to assist with fabrication and shop activities.
• Follow AS 9100 procedures and QMS requirements.
• Support product conformity and safety in manufacturing.
• Maintain records and documentation per procedures.
• Suggest improvements for quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with production teams to meet timelines.
• Keep work area clean, safe, and orderly.
