Job summary

The successful candidate will read blueprints and drawings, use micrometers, calipers and other shop tools, and ensure quality through inspection and accurate measurements. Attention to detail and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience deburring metal components in Aerospace preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics, blueprints and work instructions.
• AS9100 experience desired.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of basic shop math.
• Health and safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Grind, file, sand, and polish metal surfaces to shape using hand tools.
• Remove burrs and smooth contoured surfaces with power tools.
• Verify dimensions with micrometers, dial indicators and calipers.
• Inspect and measure parts.
• Keep work areas organized and clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
