Job summary

Harlow Aerostructures LLC in Wichita, KS is seeking a Deburr Operator for the Third Shift. You will grind, file, sand and polish metal surfaces to spec, clean holes, lift parts, remove burrs, verify dimensions, and maintain a clean workspace.

HS diploma required; experience as a parts finisher is a plus. This full-time role is at an ITAR facility, offering growth within a leading aerospace supplier.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience as a parts finisher is preferred but not required.
• Ability to use vibratory hand tools for extended periods and handle metal parts safely.

Responsibilities

• Grind, file, sand and polish metal surfaces to a specified shape and smoothness using grinding hand tools.
• Cleans interior surfaces of holes using reamer or burr whip.
• Lift and position metal parts on bench.
• Remove burrs and smooth contoured surfaces with power tools.
• Verify dimensions and radii with micrometers and calipers.
• Ensure organized and clean work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure efficient operation.
• Assist with related tasks as needed in a manufacturing environment.
