Accurus Aerospace Tulsa is seeking a Deburr Technician for the weekend shift to remove burrs from machined metal parts and ensure conformance to specifications. The role emphasizes safety, tool handling, and adherence to technical drawings in a high-precision aerospace environment.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred.
Experience reading and interpreting shop blueprints, technical drawings, and customer specifications is required.
Experience using precision measuring instruments including mics and calipers is preferred.

Responsibilities

Selects the type of finish specified per work instruction to determine the amount of metal to be removed and examines the part for finish acceptability.
Operates grinders and similar powered hand tools to remove burrs and blend or polish surfaces; uses carbide burr tools to remove excess material without damaging parts.
Performs blending of metals and creates radii by hand on areas of parts.
Works in compliance with prints and written specifications; selects methods/tools to meet specs.
Inspects equipment daily and reports issues; may perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on tools and equipment.
May operate tumblers and load/unload hopper as needed.
Maintains a clean, safe work area and follows safety guidelines.
