Eaton’s IS AER FED division is seeking a Coupling Assembler - 2nd Shift in Beltsville, MD. Core hours are 3 pm – 11 pm, hourly rate $19.50 plus 10% shift premium. 400+ team members at Beltsville facility power aerospace components with focus on reliability and weight reduction.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating machines, performing assemble operations, ATP testing, reading drawings, and ensuring safety. ITAR compliance and local radius requirement apply.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• U.S. person for ITAR compliance; no IT sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit; candidates within 50-mile radius preferred.
• Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings and routings.

Aufgaben

• Perform minor set-ups and operate multiple machines to execute turning, drilling, and boring operations on metal components.
• Conduct reaming, inserting screws, peening, and assembling hardware.
• Set up and operate bulge rivet machine to assemble retainers.
• Perform ATP testing per specifications using QC Info software.
• Read routers, record material types, lot numbers, and quantities.
• Identify, locate, and kit hardware for retainers.
• Receive components, release work orders, and understand sales orders.
• Interpret technical drawings and follow safety rules; train new staff.
• Support continuous process improvement.
