The role supports the transition from standard to actual costing, participates in inventory and cost-of-goods processes, and helps implement Infor CloudSuite/Syteline ERP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
• 3+ years cost accounting experience in manufacturing; contract manufacturing exposure a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel; Syteline experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build, analyze, and maintain standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead.
• Partner with operations to assess production processes, cost drivers, and efficiency improvements.
• Evaluate cost structures and sales data to inform pricing and profitability analysis.
• Support Quoting with cost estimates and pricing models for major quotes and LTAs.
• Monitor and report on job cost variances, including materials and overhead absorption.
• Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities for inventory and cost accounting.
• Assist budgeting and forecasting related to cost of goods sold and manufacturing expenses.
• Ensure inventory valuation accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
• Align cost assumptions with engineering, operations, and sales strategy.
• Advance Syteline ERP rollout by developing cost rates and processes.
• Continuously improve costing methods, accounting processes, and reporting tools with AI.
