Job summary

Eaton’s IS AER FED Aerospace division is seeking a Controls Engineer for our Middlesex, NC facility. On-site M-F, relocation assistance available; salary range $71,000–$105,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities include designing, specifying and implementing electrical systems for production equipment, PLC logic, safety compliance (Mesh 8.0), and supporting Industry 4.0 initiatives with data collection and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technology.
• 2+ years automation engineering in manufacturing (or 1 year internship).
• 1+ year PLC programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, specify and implement Eaton electrical systems for production equipment.
• Develop PLC logic and electrical designs for MES and manufacturing processes.
• Standardize electrical systems across Middlesex plant.
• Define and implement safety programs (Machine safeguarding) per Mesh 8.0.
• Support predictive maintenance and real-time dashboards.
• Collaborate with maintenance and suppliers to improve processes.
