Job summary

Apex Technology, Inc. is seeking a Contract Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of government and commercial agreements within our Legal Department.

You will partner with Business Development, Mission Management, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure compliance and streamlined contracting processes. The role requires a detail-oriented, organized professional with at least five years in contract management and strong negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management or related field.
• Understanding of government contracting regulations (FAR/DFARS).
• Experience drafting and reviewing a variety of commercial and government agreements.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to facilitate work across teams and leadership levels, including customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and manage a broad portfolio of government and commercial agreements (MSAs, subcontracts, teaming agreements, NDAs, purchase agreements, service agreements).
• Administer contracts through lifecycle: intake, execution, performance, modification, renewal, closeout.
• Liaise between internal stakeholders and external customers, suppliers, and government counterparts to resolve contractual issues.
• Maintain internal databases and records of contracts with key dates, parties, obligations and scope.
• Track contractual deadlines to ensure timely performance and compliance by all parties.
• Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and standard terms; suggest process improvements.
• Support proposal and bid activities by reviewing solicitation documents and flagging negotiation needs.
• Perform other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.
