Job summary

Redwire Space in Marlborough, MA seeks a Contract Quality Assurance Inspector for a 6- to 9-month assignment on our aerospace manufacturing team. You will inspect hardware, witness torquing, perform receiving inspections, and document defects in our ERP using non-conformance reports.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in QC/QA for military or aerospace, and familiarity with AS9100/ISO9001, J-STD-001 Space Addendum, and NAS8739.1/NAS8739.4. Strong drawing interpretation and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years as a QC/QA inspector in military or aerospace industries.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and/or ISO9001 standards.
• Knowledge of standard Aerospace Industry requirements.
• J-STD-001 Space Addendum knowledge and/or certification.
• NASA 8739.1 and/or NAS8739.4 knowledge and/or certification.

Responsibilities

• Inspect in-house products, witness torquing of hardware, and perform receiving inspections.
• Document defects in ERP system utilizing Non-Conformance Reports.
• Perform receiving inspection ensuring documentation and products meet drawings and purchase order requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
