Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• I: 2+ years of experience with composites or laminations; 2+ years of military equipment maintenance OR electronics/mechanical troubleshooting experience; HS Diploma required.
• II: 5+ years of experience with composites or laminations; 5+ years of military equipment maintenance OR electronics/mechanical troubleshooting; HS Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Assembly of structures including setup, bonding and fastener applications.
• Laminate assemblies by determining proper placement of composite materials.
• Prepare parts for bagging and vacuum connections.
• Vacuum bag processing, bonding, and oven/autoclave curing.
• Make basic layouts to establish reference points and check dimensions with calipers and micrometers.
• Fit Honeycomb, foam and syntactic core and refurbish thermal protection systems.
• Integrate mechanical hardware and perform standard composite building techniques.
• May work on other Rocket Lab products in the local area or travel as required.
