Job summary

Rocket Lab in Albuquerque is seeking a Facilities Technician I–III to support operations and the facilities team. You will troubleshoot HVAC and facility systems, work with engineers on new equipment, and train new technicians.

The role requires GMP-like discipline in a highly controlled environment and readiness to support after-hours tasks. The position offers hands-on maintenance across electrical, mechanical and building systems, with growth into higher technician levels.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a highly regulated manufacturing/production environment.
• Experience in the maintenance and repair of Industrial and commercial HVAC, electrical, mechanical and building support equipment.
• Experience using a respirator.
• High School Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and repair of all facility/HVAC equipment and systems.
• Monitors and ensures environmental standards for clean room operation.
• Performs facilities and process equipment maintenance procedures.
• Collaborates with engineers to resolve issues or plan for new equipment.
• Installs new facilities and process equipment.
• Leads training and support for new technicians.
• Monitors facility/HVAC systems and recommends improvements.
• Maintains facility data collection requirements.
• Identifies nonconformances and helps find solutions.
• Deploys the Quality Management System as applicable.
• Acts as a member of the Emergency Response Team.
