Karman Space & Defense in Mukilteo, WA is seeking a Composites Quality Inspector for the 1st shift. The role ensures composite manufacturing meets aerospace quality standards and supports documentation, audits, and supplier coordination.

You will verify acceptance, manage quality workflows, and generate inspection reports. A high school diploma is required; preferred is ability to read drawings and strong communication skills. This is a full-time, on-site position with a 4x10 schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable using computers for data entry and information lookup.

Responsibilities

• Inspects composite manufacturing to ensure quality per drawings and specifications.
• Provides oversight for layup technicians and documents inspection reports.
• Manages tracking of materials, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
• Generates AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports.
• Coordinates with suppliers to resolve quality issues.
• Supports quality audits and assists engineering with process development.
