Job summary

AST SpaceMobile is seeking a Quality Inspector II – Composites Integration to perform advanced inspections of aerospace composites and integrated hardware for satellite manufacturing. You will verify conformance to drawings, AS9100 requirements, and maintain meticulous records across inspection stages.

The role requires 4+ years in aerospace quality inspection, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to work independently within a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of aerospace quality inspection experience or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience inspecting composite and mechanical assemblies.
• Proficiency with precision measurement equipment and inspection records.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced in‑process and final inspections of composite structures and aerospace hardware.
• Verify compliance to drawings, models, specs, and inspection plans.
• Document nonconformances and support root-cause investigations.
• Maintain accurate records in quality systems and ensure ESD/FOD compliance.
