Job summary

MACRO Industries, a leading aerospace and defense composites company, seeks a Manufacturing Technician in Lenexa, KS. You will perform hands-on production activities to produce high quality composites per specifications, drawings, and work instructions while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires attention to detail, following precise processes, and a commitment to consistent, high quality output.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a strong mechanical background.
• Proficient at using templates and precision measuring tools.
• Ability to operate various hand tools and precision measuring devices.
• Experience with tile cutting saw is a plus.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must wear PPE and be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Stand for 8 hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand engineered drawings.
• Set up and operate production machinery, cutting equipment, saws and precision measuring tools.
• Prepare and ensure materials are used and handled properly.
• Measure, mark, and cut materials with precision.
• Ensure finished products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Track supply inventory.
• Assist with packaging and labeling finished products as needed.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
• Perform routine equipment checks and preventive maintenance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Provide support to team members as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
